Do you have a child in grades 4-5 who would like an introduction or supplement to a religious program? God and Family is a faith-based program that explores a child’s family connection with God. This entire program is based on pizza. Pizza? Yes, pizza. The six steps of making pizza will be compared to God’s plan for strengthening families. The pizza theme is meant to give students a concrete, ‘hands-on’ model on which to build their understanding of God’s love for their families. Learn the stories of Joshua, Ruth and Naomi, Jesus at the temple, Moses and Aaron, Daniel and more. This program will be geared to the protestant, Congregational faith. Cub Scouts (Webelos) and Girl Scouts can use this program towards their religious based advancement.
